The dahlia image does not belong to me so no I did not do it. However, this layout is for my mom who passed away June 24th 2008. She had a passion for dahlias.
Karoline. Webmistress of this little space in the vast world wide web. I was born in the lovely city of Vancouver, Canada in the year of 1980. Born under the signs of Gemini/Monkey, I'm a halfbreed who can speak three languages and possibly could learn more as I like to learn new things (except things of a mathematical nature). I have three other siblings - two of them I have disowned because I feel they aren't needed in this family but they don't need to know that...yet. I live with my mom, dad, Nny and my older brother (who is not disowned and is the better of all my siblings) with my two babies - cats that is. I love cats and would love to have more than two if I had space and the money to maintain them. I'm a complete gamer girl who has played games on computers since I was 8 (ahh the days of Pacman and the Commodore 64!) if you were to ask me what my favorite game is, I couldn't answer. I have plenty of favorites. I also love to read fantasy novels but when I take a break from it, I also read history (fiction and non fiction), some children's novels, and mangas when I'm feeling really lazy and feel like looking at pretty drawings. My favorite kind of music would be metal/industrial; KMFDM and Rammstein would be my top two most listened bands. I watch horror and action movies. Comedy movies actually don't make me laugh, and chick flicks make me vomit. As a child, I was one of the quiet ones. I never caused any trouble at school but when I did it would be something of an evil nature usually having something to do with treachery or lying. It was during high school when I got into html, and I starting teaching myself more. I didn't get into the design part until recently only because I actually had developed a bit of patience to deal with programs like PSP and Photoshop. I have two diplomas; one in administration and the other in web page design what I'm doing with these two pieces of paper I'm not sure..but it sure looks real damn good on a resume. I work at a marketing office where stress can be sometimes high, tempers flare, and there's lots of drama but at least I'm someplace where I can watch this whole thing and laugh, it does make the place exciting even though the tasks are monotonous. Future plans include: winning lottery, buying a high end computer for all my games, getting a place with Nny, and getting more kitties.
Nny. Karoline's love slave of 7 years. Bless him for putting up with me for this long. The only bad thing I would say he has is that he's a Leafs fan *laughs* I don't demand much in a guy, but Nny seems to have filled all my requirements. All I really asked for was a guy who was able to listen, have similar interests, and the biggest requirement of all: was to love to read. If I didn't have a guy that loves to read that I would just simply assume he's a total meathead with other things on his mind if you know what I mean. The other thing is he's a total gamer like me. Playing a game with someone else is much more fun than playing by yourself (depending on the game of course) oh yes, and he's a cat lover. You don't find too many guys that like cats. Seven years dearie...hopefully lots more to come.
Crisp. My first kitty and most beloved. I adopted him from my vet. He's a total scaredy cat but when you pick him up and slowly rock him like a baby he purrs like a motor. He doesn't like Chi Chi much and probably thinks he's a lousy little shit that chases him around non stop. You gotta love him he's extremely huggable and makes a little chirping sound when you squeeze him a little
.
Chi Chi. After Cheeky passed away (was my second cat) I adopted this little guy around Christmas Eve from the SPCA. A wee little skinny guy lively as hell, jumps all over the place, runs amok like a little horse, pisses the Crisp off like mad that I have to separate the two. He's my mom's and dad's little jewel though and they consider him the baby of the house.
